LOGANSPORT – Prosecutor Noah Schafer announced that Severin Downs, 27, of Logansport, pled guilty today to Robbery Resulting Bodily Injury , a Level 3 Felony. Downs was charged for an incident that occurred in November of 2022 in which he and another charged defendant, Mark Kroldart, allegedly took property from a person in the area of the 100 block of Miami Avenue in Logansport. A firearm was used in the commission of the crime, and the victim was struck multiple times causing injury. Under the terms of his plea agreement, Downs is expected to be sentenced to 15 years with 9 of those years being served at the Department of Correction. Sentencing is set for December 19. Codefendant Kroldart plead guilty in August of 2023 and was sentenced to 8 years in the Department of Corrections. Cancel
