KOKOMO MAN SENTENCED TO 910 DAYS INCARCERATION FOR DRUNK DRIVING
LOGANSPORT – Prosecutor Noah Schafer announced that Warren Levine, 57, of Kokomo, was sentenced to 910 days in the Indiana Department of Corrections on Thursday, October 29, 2021, after pleading guilty to operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction. The charge stems from an incident in December, 2020 in which citizens phoned Cass County dispatch to advise that Levine’s black Dodge Stratus was crossing the center line and nearly striking other vehicles while driving in the area of County Road 900 South on US Highway 35. When apprehended by law enforcement, Levine had alcohol containers in the car and a portable breath test indicated a blood alcohol content of nearly twice the legal limit. This is Levine’s second drunk driving conviction in Cass County since 2020.
