DELPHI WOMAN PLEADS GUILTY TO DEALING METH
ss County Prosecutor Noah Schafer announced today that Melissa Kay Robinson, 37, of Delphi, plead guilty as charged today to dealing methamphetamine as a Level 2 felony. Robinson plead open to the court, meaning that no plea agreement was reached with the prosecutor’s office.
The three counts to which Robinson plead involve a series of transactions in August of 2020 in which Robinson sold large quantities of methamphetamine to undercover police officers. Robinson has previous convictions for possession of meth, theft and trespassing.
Pursuant to the open plea, Judge Lisa Swaim will determine Robinson’s sentence at a hearing scheduled for November 9,2021. Robinson faces up to 90 years incarceration.
